"Our dear Jelena passed away at the age of 43 after a long battle with cancer. She leaves behind her husband Vedran and her 6.5 year old son, Maksim, her parents, brother, many cousins, many friends. 
Jelena touched many of our lives. She was the one to always ask how you or your loved one was doing and she was such a fantastic listener. She fought a brave battle with the illness and we all believed she would recover and pull through."
