I specifically remember Mona from track. Her short legs could carry her far and fast. She always had a spirited personality with a kick. Sorry to hear she's no longer with us.
What happend to her? I think about her all the time. What a profound affect she had on everyone! Everyone knew her rather you hated her or loved her. She was so full of life and zest. The first person I knew with a daughter, and in high school. I even remember a poem she wrote in 9th grade. God Bless her and her family.
Mona I will always miss you. You were my first best friend in 3rd grade! We got into a lot of trouble together. Riding double on my moped, running from the police because of that. Yes I got caught. Spending time with your family. Your sister will still not give me her secret for the bbq. You were a great friend. I will miss you always!
