Senior Keg in the parking lot before graduation was definitely an epic moment, and one that my younger siblings will forever be jealous about.

Dear Reader and more than likely former classmate,

If asked "where do you see yourself in ten years" at age 18, my response at that time would be far from accurate. After high school I made a brief (three weeks at best) effort at Kirkwood CC. I worked for my stepfathers cabinet business off and on, but mostly pursued music. I started a band with fellow classmates Ryan Plotz and Matt Hinz called "Towncrier". Towncrier performed at every hole in the wall and dive bar in the lower 48 states from 2001-2006. Over the years we were lucky enough to see many classmates from Xavier at different shows across the U.S., and may have even free-loaded a nights stay at your house. Towncrier does still exist but not in the same way. We still play once or twice a month, but now stay within the boundaries of this fantastic state. Oh, and Matt quit the band, jerk. Just kidding, Matt, Ryan, and myself remain best friends, and often reminisce of our rock&roll experiences.
Since 2006 I have returned to academia. I have two years left to finish at UNI with a degree in Psychology. I plan to continue on to the graduate program at U of Iowa and hope to teach at a college or university. Until then, I plan on remaining a musician, friend, poor swimmer and Hawkeye fan.
