Our Reunion Lineup of Events:

5pm Friday October 9th tailgating dinner under the tents adjacent to the old CHHS tennis courts.  (No alcohol on school grounds.)  9217 Sewell School Rd, Chapel Hill.  Parking available in numerous school lots.  Ta Contento & Finca Burger food trucks on site, or bring your own munchies.  Cafeteria as rain-out site in case of poor weather.  Sticky photo name tags and classy CHHS Class of 1981 lapel buttons to be distributed at the event check-in table.  Local folks, please bring your folding chairs and any extras you have!

7pm Friday October 9th CHHS vs. East Chapel Hill High boys' varsity home football game, $10 admission.  Purchase your advance, online tickets: CHHS Football Tickets.  9217 Sewell School Rd, Chapel Hill.  Note that the bleachers are open to the weather.  Restrooms available nearby.

Some folks will go out together to Bru's Public House restaurant/bar before, during or after the Friday game.  Meeting directly at Bru's is our Plan B, in case of inclement weather.

6:30-10pm Saturday October 10th, main event (advance registration $72, or $77 at the door) - Post No. 6 American Legion, 3700 NC-54, Chapel Hill.  Casual catered buffet dinner by 39 West, BYOB, DJ Doc Choc spinning popular music from our high school era, central wooden dance floor, quiet spaces indoors and outside for conversations.  Our own Terry Lee Jones & Jerry Sipp will serve as MCs.  Former women's basketball, volleyball & softball coach, Sherry Norris and spouse Ronnie, and former English teacher Jane Gabin  will join us as honored guests.  Nice rear patio, lawn sloping down to a pond.  Clip-on photo name tags and commemorative gold & black tumblers to be distributed at the event check-in table.  In addition to candid shots of classmates throughout the event and small groups upon request, a professional photographer will assemble us all for a few takes of a group photo at 8pm.  We'll also have her shoot small group photos by elementary school and junior high attended!  Folks are encouraged to wear whatever feels comfortable.
