Hope everyone is in good health, physically and mentally.  How can it be 40 years?  I don't think I'm any older than the day we graduated -- oh wait I have a 36 yr-old daughter.  Some time has gone by.

Hi Barb!

I think Dave Jacobson is claiming to be about 36 himself, so you may have to set him straight.  I actually feel like I'm lying when I give my age these days.  It will be fun to get together this summer!

It was so great to see all the class mates that attended. Many thanks to the Reunion Committee for a job well done. I missed those class members that couldn't attend. I look forward to catching up with each of you at the next reunion in five years. I encourage everyone including myself to try to look up and track down those missing.

Hi, everyone!
It was so great to see everyone again! A special thanks to the committee for all their hard work. The whole weekend was put together perfectly! I can't wait for the next one!

This was from the Face Book page of James R Trefz on Sat., July 28. Worth sharing for the non-Face Book Class of 72:

The Word of the Day: PENSEE \pahn-SEY\, a noun meaning "a reflection or thought;" as in, "Pensees on my high school reunion: good people, great memories, more wrinkles."

This was posted by Tim Lyman on July 30,  but for some reason, didn't post to the website:

"What a great weekend thanks for all the laughs."

The Houston folks have to come to CC to get together.   Shame on us!

Hello everyone,

I am still smiling over what a great time I had at our reunion.   The 40 years seemed to melt away once  people started talking to each other.  The committee did such a great job.  I am looking forward to the next one in 5 years and hope to stay in touch with many classmates between now and then.  This website will be a great way to keep up.smiley  Paula

My sympathy to Pam Darrow's family.  How sad to lose another classmate.

Hey everyone.

Sorry I haven't wished anyone a happy birthday who as had one over the summer.  E-mail address was changed at school this year.  I have corrected it.

I'd like to come to the 45th reunion if such a thing is planned. My schedule fills up quickly so the sooner I have dates the better the chance I can fit a trip into it.

Yes!  I will post something on the website as soon as they get the date.  The holdup seems to be getting the date for Party in the Park from the city.  Stay tuned!

I missed the last reunion but hope to make it this year.  I plan to be there on Friday evening, then leave Saturday so we can spend time with my parents near Red Wing.

So sad I missed it this year. Time off from work wasn't there for me. Still in my Saint Paul house , living with my younger sister. How was it? Can't wait to see pictures.

Sorry I didn't make it either!  Could not get the time off!  Can hardly wait to retire!  Would love to have more freedom to travel and see old friends.

I would like to nominate Bob Kuhn as the most stand up guy in this class! At the KC hall on friday nite he and I were conversing and I told him I had fulfilled one of my bucket list items in his town(I  bought my own wheel of Maytag Blue cheese, Made in Newton Iowa) They have been out of production for a few years but were restarting again and he had connections. Yesterday I walked into my office an there is a refrigerated box from none other than Dr Bob! (Godfather of Newton?) Thanks Bob and if anybody wants to stop by for a sample the bar is always open

Kathy,

I think we've lost another classmate. The obit for Randy Jannsen was in the Mason City Globe Gazette, Tuesday, Oct. 19.
