Bob (Robbie) and I were best friends in high school and after graduation we took a couple of trips together including one to Canada to hunt bear. We came back with some nice fish but no bear. Most of all we had a great adventure. He went on to become an actor in Hollywood which shocked the hell out of me. During the years I knew him, he never mentioned having such aspirations. I lost touch with him early on and I am very sad to learn of his demise. He and his sister Jane were very special people and they will always be fondly remembered. I wish I could find out the details of his passing. I would like to contact his widow or his children to let them know how much his friendship meant to me.
I left Charleston High in the middle of my senoir year when my family moved to Tennessee so I did not attend graduation at CHS but I'll always consider myself a part of that great school.
