Steven, 40, of Charlotte, died unexpectedly on February 25, 2011 at Presbyterian Hospital with his family by his side.
Steven was born November 16, 1970 in Charlotte, youngest son of Robert and Jo Lytle.
Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held today at 7 p.m. at Eastway Baptist Church with Rev. David Gales and Rev. Michael Owens officiating. The family will begin receiving friends at 6 p.m.
Mr. Lytle was an active member of Eastway Baptist Church; singing in the choir, assisting with AWANAS, and the bus ministry. After graduating East Meck, he did volunteer assistance for 10 years with the football and baseball teams.
In addition to being survived by his parents, Robert and Jo, he is also survived by his sister, Debbie Fawcett (Vernon); brothers, Randy (Liz) and Jeff; and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eastway Baptist Church, 2749 Eastway Dr., Charlotte, NC 28205, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
