I worked nine years with Douglas Aircraft Company in Charlotte and 27 years with IBM in the Research Triangle Park. I retired in 1992 and Shirley and I have traveled extensively for the past 20 years. We are also big supporters of NC State University and go to all Football, Basketball, Women's Basketball, Gymnastics and Baseball games. For 10 years we also traveled to all of the away football games, but we finally "aged out".
We celebrated our 60th. Anniversary in March along with three birthdays
and spent the weekend with the entire family at our Daughters home in New Port News, Va.
