What an athelete! In the seventh grade Vance ran the hundred in a 10.9 seconds. No small feat considering his age, the spiked track shoes, and the dirt and cinder track that he ran on at AG. I'm sure he would have been a star at MPHS. And we would have had some winning football seasons. What a shock it was when he left this world so early.
