Deborah Jo Fulton Keller
Mrs. Deborah Jo Fulton Keller, 51, passed away May 12, 2007 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born September 24, 1955 in Charlotte, NC to Evelyn Rebecca Jordan and Billy Joe Fulton. Debbie passed after a very courageous battle with cancer. She had an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoyed traveling. She was a genuine pleasure to be around and touched the lives of many.
She worked as a rural route carrier for the United States Postal Service for 14 years and she attended Southside Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Rebecca Jordan. Surviving are her loving husband of 31 years, Richard 'Rick' Keller of the home; her father, Billy Joe Fulton of Mt. Holly; 2 sisters, Becky Ritter and husband, Lee of Charlotte; Sandy Funderburke and husband, Bill of Pinehurst; 3 step-brothers, Steve Bates of Belmont, Donnie Robinson of Morganton, Ralph Robinson of Rock Hill, SC; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend at home, Jane Wooten.
A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday May 15, 2007 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Bill Funderburke and Mr. Lee Ritter officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
