John Norman Mallery
'Jack'
MONROE -- Mr. Mallery, age 54, died Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center - Union. Born June 20, 1955 in Columbus, OH, he was a son of Frances Reynolds Mallery of Charlotte and the late Lawrence Mallery. Before he became disabled, Mr. Mallery was a pilot for Southeast Airmotive. He was a member of the True Light Church. Mr. Mallery enjoyed building remote-controlled airplanes and helicopters and playing his guitar.
The service to celebrate the life of John 'Jack' Norman Mallery will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Indian Trail with The Reverend Maurice Henson officiating. Interment will follow in True Light Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday at McEwen Funeral Service - Mint Hill Chapel.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Mallery is survived by his wife of 18 years, Sherry Craven Mallery and son, Ryan Rogers, both of the home; a brother, Larry Mallery of Charlotte; two nephews, Christopher and Matthew; and two nieces, Samantha and Krystle.
