Deborah Anne Smith Morris, 60, passed from this life into eternal life on July 15, 2017 at her home surrounded by her adoring family. Deborah was the daughter of Lynda Elliott Springs and the late Daniel Martin Smith. A native of Charlotte, she graduated from Myers Park High School and UNCC. She was a member of Grace Christian Center and was employed as a Registered Nurse for over thirty years, the last fourteen of which were with Healthy @ Home.
Mrs Morris is survived by her husband, William Bennett Morris Jr, her mother, Lynda Elliott Springs, her brother Daniel Martin Smith Jr; children Cassity Anne Stroud, Jessica Erin Pabon, David Nathanael Samonds, Caitlin Lee Dover, Elise Alexandria Weyersberg, sons-in-law Jody Stroud, Rafael Pabon, Nathan Dover and Ralph Weyersberg, and daughter-in-law Chanel Samonds.
Also surviving their beloved Grandmama are her fifteen grandchildren Alyssa Fisher, William Fisher, Joseph Fisher, Eliana Fisher, Henry Stroud, Elizabeth Pabon, Victoria Pabon, Lily Samonds, Nathanael Samonds, Seth Samonds, Rylee Dover, Zachary Dover, Ethan Beasley, Alex Beasley, Alexis Weyersberg, and her two step-grandsons Aiden Stroud and Jacob Stroud.
A celebration of her life of love, joy, and dedication will be held on Saturday, July 29th at 3 o'clock in the afternoon at Grace Christian Center in Charlotte. Flowers may be sent to Grace Christian Center, delivery is requested between 9am and noon on Friday, July 28th.
