Message for my classmates:
I was only amongst you for our senior year, but it was a life-changing experience. I credit my association with people like Mary Kaven, Tom Curtis, and David Parsons, among many others, as the influence that triggered the next stage of my intellectual development. I should also say that the academic rigor of AHS prepared me for college in a way that I had not then previously enjoyed. Mr. Turner's English class, Mrs. Fantino's Composition class, and Mr. Snoddy's government class prepared me to excel in college. I should also point out that Mrs. Flowers' direction of the two plays I was in stands out as an example of almost saintly patience.
