I was so sorry to hear this.  I remember Jerry very well from Albemarle.  An exellent athlete, always friendly and nice to everyone.  A really good guy.  My condolences to his family.

Another sad goodbye ... remember you well starting from 3rd grade Red Hill Elementary, those years together and our 5 years at AHS. Your smile will always be remembered ~ you can see it in these pictures! Condolences to family and friends and our AHS '67 family.

Happy Birthday Kathy. Think of you and your mom often. I have 2 of her paintings from my parents' home in North Garden now in my home in Midlothian.

Sue and I have been friends since elementary school, we were in band in high school, she always made sure I was aware of what was going on in Crozet after I left.  Whenever I came into town, Sue would get a bunch together for lunch.  Marina, my wife, enjoyed her company also. Her love for our school and our friendship will always be with me.  May the PEACE of God Always be with you, Sue.  Love, Al (Gene) Garrison.

So saddened to hear of Sue's passing. She truly epitomized AHS and school spirit and voted "Friendliest" was spot on. Over the years, after graduation, she was always ready to help with reunions and to give updates on some of our classmates who were in her circle of friends in Charlottesville. I was fortunate to be on her e-mail list for those beautiful Jaquie Lawson e-cards she would send on holidays and even odd days. The last one I received was on September 22nd to celebrate Fall with a nice note and no hint of any challenge! I enjoyed the cards, as they always gave me the opportunity to reply with a message of friendship. RIP. You are sorely missed.
