After receiving my MA from Ohio State, I taught chorus for 10 years, dropped out for 15 and have been back in public schools for the last 15 years. During the 15 years I was away from public schools, I taught privately, was a church director of music, and taught preschool music.
I have been a member of The Greater Richmond Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, for 9 years and have traveled with them to 4 International competitions in Las Vegas, Honolulu, Seattle, and this November to Baltimore. What fun doing what I love to do:SING!!

I sincerely hope that we have all lived to the fullest and followed our passions as our most loved principal, Mr. Hurt, displayed for us through his love of ACHS and everyone of its' students.
