I met Chris Carpenter in 10th grade. He was attending Tennessee Temple College. We were married on Jan.21, 1967 by Dr. Lee Roberson. We will be married 48 years on Jan. 21, 2015. I stayed home and raised our family until all the kids were grown. Then I worked at a local florist shop until I retired in January, 2014.
