I've been in Emergency Services for almost 20 years now. First in Petoskey & Harbor Springs as a Paramedic. In 1996 I moved to Ann Arbor To work for Huron Valley Ambulance, HVA. 1998 I started my fire career as a paid on call firefighter with Ann Arbor Township. In 2001 I hired on full time with Plymouth Community Fire.

I met Kirsten in 1999 when she rode with me at HVA, she is a medic and had just moved back from New York. Lost touch for a couple of years then hooked up with the help of her brother, another medic with HVA in 2002. We eloped to Maine and were married in a blizzard in Dec, 2003. It was actually a modified elopement we had a few friends and family, Ed Barber was my best man, I returned the favor 6mos later.

I used to work 2 jobs until Kendra was born in 2006 then Matthew came along 1 year and 18 days later. Kirsten works for the schools as a speech therapist, so my other job now is being Mr Mom. I work 9 24hr shifts a month at PTFD so it allows me alot of time with the family.
