Mark Liachowitz

It's hard to comprehend that we're old enough to be a quarter-century past any landmark phase in our lives, let alone the end of high school. It will be great to see people after all these years. Moriah and I will be attending the PJ Whelihan's portion of the reunion. I'm hoping Happy Hour will last for about 6 hours.

Happy Hour did last for 6 hours or so that night, and we were just about the last to leave. Moriah was a trooper and volunteered to be the designated driver. It was really great seeing everyone at the 25th Reunion, though it seems clear now that there were some ex-classmates in attendance who I either never saw or didn't recognize. I'll look forward to doing it again for # 30 in 2013, a year that once sounded so futuristic, yet now sounds oh so very close.

Mr Jordan suspending me for being late too many times in Feb of Sr year. My Dad was on my side and told Jordan that all he was accomplishing was giving me a free day off since my lates were only by "minutes" and didn't interfere with classes.

This worked out great for me since Aerosmith was playing their Valentine's Day Massacre concert on 2/14/83. My suspension day was conveniently the next school day, thus allowing me to get "massacred" and then sleep all day. The craziest part of the concert (beyond the band not hitting the stage until 10:30 PM due to a Steven Tyler overdose) was Carol Arrowood getting thrown out of the Spectrum by security leaving me with a group full of drunken guys (I think the drunken 6 were Mellman, Gershefski, Hamilton, Doheny, Haimowitz, Sacks, but it's kinda blurry)
