Kristie Wilson Kinsey

After high schoolgraduation I attended ODU where I received my education degree. I began teaching in P-town and stayed there for 8 years. I then transferred to Virginia Beach where I've been since 2000!

I met my husband through a colleague (guess you can say reconnected since he's from GB as well). We married in 2005. We still live in Great Bridge (imagine that)!

There are so many funny stories but one comes to mind....I was cheering in a very important basketball game (against Indian River when Alonzo Mourning was playing-so you can imagine the crowd)! I was lifted into a stunt, splits to be exactly and the person holding my pelvic-area wasn't there! My skirt flipped up and there were my bloomers shining right into the crowd!!!! My boyfriend at the time graduated from Indian River. He stood up and hollered to his friends, "That's my girl!"
