Looking back to my first day arrival on campus, I remember that my father and I were directed to C company.  As I signed in (shark skin suit , pointed italian shoes,attitude and long hair) I remember being directed to my first floor room.  I distinctly remember1st Sgt. George Fox saying "Don't worry Mr. Grosch we'll take care of him". (I detected a knowing smile from my Dad).

As I walked in I see Gary Garnick standing there. We introduced ourselves......Little did I know what a giving person he was and what impact  (Quietly)  he had on getting me through that Rook year.

We were both Accounting Majors, Gary had screwed around at Temple University the year before and I guess PMC was his parents thought.."Your going to Military College Gary, period". We now had that in common..

Gary.... (His parents edict)   Me.... (City of Yonkers Criminal Court Judge's Verdict).

Class came easy to him...Me, Not.....He took time, a lot of time, helping me understand..(Many hours of "Late Lights")
