Just got a call today 2/21/19 from my Roomer telling me that Andy Patton is in town again and "we're coming to Bayside Lakes, Fl". That got me thinking about Billy's last two visits. Thinking back to my Golf Embarrassment, I had to laugh. Let me set the scene for you. The guys surprised me with the first visit a couple of months ago (so this narrative will be picked up from there).

I'm sitting in my "Man Cave" when Billy and Andy pull up. The garage is filled with memories,back wall filled with PMC Stuff including 2 golf bags and a putting green. Symolon brings a bottle of Votka and we start polishing it off. Feeling no pain He says "I'm coming down again Bobby and were going to play a round". "Sure thing" this feeling no pain idiot says. "You know , lets play "Best Ball" so we can enjoy the Golf course". Bragging about the Majors Golf Club,(Yada, Yada,Yada).  All BS , the truth of the matter is, I hadn't played golf in a couple of decades. I hang out at the club to drink in a beautiful setting, oh sure, I putt and chip a liitle, but that's it. The reality was after 10 years of football and a bad landing at airbourne school, my back is shot. I should have said something then... but I didn't.... What do they say... "Pride goeth before the fall". 

OK,we get on the first tee,Billy hits one 225 yards,playable. Now it's the jerks turn, I tee up the ball, take a couple of practice swings...so far so good."Please Lord let me get it in the fairway". I address the ball, swing and miss the ball completely, it dribbles to the side. I fall forward, almost falling to my knees from the pain. I must say it was one of my most embarrassing moments in sports. (Only thing worse, that I can remember, was in a JV basketball game in High School, as a freshman, I shot at the wrong basket, thank God it didn't go in).

Moral of the story...This upcoming visit Billy said to me on the phone "we'll meet you at the Majors' 19th hole and drink". smart guy,Ha.

I think my "Look Out!!!" block at the Boardwalk Bowl was pretty embarrasing!  Mised my block completely and the only thing I could think to do was to holler at Billy Yarnell to "LOOK OUT" just before he got nailed.
