What have you been up to since you graduated?

The Army kept me a PMC for a few years until I left for the Infantry Career course at Benning prior to going to Nam. I has a bunch of positions at PMC to include TAC officer of a Cadet Company, ROTC Instructor, Varsity Coach of Crocc Country, Swimming and Track,
Asst AD ( and trying to keep Stalkus out of trouble )I was a Capt at
that time and spent the rest of my 33.3 years on active duty as an Airborne Infantry Commander with three tours in Nam and a lot of other hell holes. I retired in 1995 as an 06 and have been working in the Fitness
Arena ever since, other than the last 5 years as a Federal Protection
Officer under contract with The Dept Of Interior in Washington.

School Story:

The professional relationship I had at PMC with all the team members
of Cross Country, Swimming, and Track. Relationships that continue
to this day. The best Coaching years in my life.

What's next on your "Bucket List"? What have you accomplished so far on your "Bucket List"?

Working hard to stay Fit so as to enjoy my Kids, GrandKids and Great
Grandkids. Also to be able to stay in contact with a lot od Team members
that I had the honor of Coaching.

Were you a Cadet, Day Student or Evening Student?

Clark- Rcvd your message on Sunday afternoon. Yes my wife, Roberta and I will be
attending The Class Of 66 Class reunion..We fly into Phila on Thursday 13 oct and have
3 day reservations confirmed at the Best Western Hotel on campus.Myclass of 66 sweat
shirt, hat and PMC blanket should be arriving and day now. My check to the supplier was
cashed several weeks ago. Mike Stalkus thought just having Coach Dougherty put on the
sweat shirt would be the way to go " for the reunion. Reservations for the hotel wewe made several mo ago along with a check as our part of he Hospitality suite at the hotel
on campus. Hope this squares my wife and I at this point. I will be working closely with Dave Irons and Mike Stalkus throughout the three days as they were super team members
of my Cross Country, Swim, and Track teams. Any further info that you need please contact me by phone (505-332-8810) or my E- Mail address which you do have. Looking

Hi David- sure enjoyed reading the input to your 66 PMC Reunion Web site. Sounds like your young runners Track Club is realy doing well. You said you were going to be in
Albuquerque in Dec for a big Cross Country meet? I thought that perhaps you and the
runners who came for the meet would like to come to dinner at my home after the meet.I can pick you all up and take you all back to your motel after dinner. If not, since I am now retired I plan to touch base with you at the meet site if only for a short time.Hopfully you plan to attend your class reunion next Oct-Should be a good one! Hey- how come in all the pictures of your Track Club members all of them are wearing shoes-Dave, Mike and I
all thought the same thing over Labor Day weekend when they were here? How come/
Let me know about Dec.
Take care- " Coach"
