After CHS, I graduated from Kansas University for undergraduate school and then attended KU school of medicine from 74-77, both on a Navy ROTC scholarship. While still serving, I spent time with the Second Marine Aircraft Wing as a Flight Surgeon and then completed my residency in ophthalmology. I moved to Lawrence, KS in 1986 and practiced there until 2014. I should have retired sooner! I travel, fish, read, build desktop computers, play with grandkids, watch Kansas Basketball, have a lovely wife, and truly enjoy being retired.
School Story
The day before graduation, Rich Barrett ran into our principle while running down the hall and gave him a black eye. Loved the keggers at the old abandoned missile sites! Went down to Colorado State campus to see Simon and Garfunkel in concert the fall of 1969. Still the best concert I have EVER attended.
