Judith's Latest Interactions
Diane was my next door neighbor, my childhood companion, and my best friend from the second grade through high school.
We did everything together. Together we walked to and from: - Edgebrook Elementary School; - Edgebrook Lutheran Church - singing in the choir-; and our ballet lessons on Devon avenue.
In high school, we were in honor classes together, we rode the CTA bus together to and from Schurz (when I could copy our homework assignment from her).
And we were fellow members of the Ivys club together. Over the subsequent years we have stayed in touch through the many reunions of the Ivys around the country.
My memories of Diane are of her outgoing nature, her cheerful kindness, and how she always did her homework (unlike me!).
Dave and I extend our heartfelt condolences to Jack and the rest of her family.
