Jessica Gulley Hey ladies! As I'm sitting here buzzing, looking at this price, I'm sorry to say, $110 is steep. Couple of questions: Would there be a price per event? Will there be an itemization of cost? Is there a reduced price for children? Just a thought. Thanks.

Itasha Freeman For a 3 day event, I don't think it's steep at all. This is a normal price for a class reunion and sometimes it's more expensive.

The itemization of cost is located under the 10 Year Reunion tab. For 2008, Class Reunion prices are ranging from $75-200 per person in 4 major cities (You know I did my research). There are overhead costs as well as the cost for the event such as a DJ, supplies for the Cookout, gift, etc. We do not have a formal committee and have not been able to have a reserve of funds as most schools do. Therefore Qiana and I have fronted some of these costs. If you want to contribute to this reunion please let us know.

Children eat free at the Cookout.

Hello everyone!!! I know this is not a part of the reunion. However, I am starting my own kid party planning business. On Sunday at our picnic I was wondering if it would be okay if I did a FREE demonstartion of my work. I will supply everything. No money necessary! The name of the demo is called "Step Right Up. It is a carnival theme filled with plenty activities for the kids. I would greatly appreciate it if you guys would bring your children to take part in this event. At the end of it I would greatly appreciate your feedback!!!

The price LOOKS bad but when you think about what is included it seems worth the price. Reunions are'nt cheap. I was surprised at the difference between the price of our class and my husbands...... his banquet is $115 per person and you have to pay for children to attend the picnic. I think the problem is the banquet price but compared to how cheap the picnic is why is it a problem. It costs a lot to hire people, buy food, etc.. and I believe that Danielle and Qiana (and anyone else who has helped) has had to risk a lot of their own money to make this reunion take place. Hopefully we can all attend. You have to pay for quality. If we want something nice then we have to be willing to spend the money to get that. THANKS FOR ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK QIANA AND DANIELLE! Hopefully we dont have to change too much of it to make it a success!

Hello Everyone,

I have to say that this price has been posted for MONTHS! If less than $20 per month was paid by each individual the events would have been paid for. This has been a very stressful process for both Danielle and Qiana and for people to have something to say 1 week before the event is ridiculous! Hopefully the events will turn out as planned but as we all know if there is not enough participation they will be cancelled.

Make no mistake about this post...this is referring to YOU.

You responded to my initial email on November 12, 2007 stating that you were interested in participating reunion. I posted a range for pricing back in March between $85-110 for the entire weekend. If your interest changed because of the price, that is understandable.

We have been soliciting assistance through this entire ordeal. If ANYONE though the pricing, venue, etc were not acceptable, the proper thing to do would be to let us know and then provide suggestions for alternatives. If you were not willing to assist with the effort in making this event a success I feel like I have a right to say not to post any negativity on this website.

It is disheartening to me that you feel as if you will need to convene only with your "real friends". This reunion is about us being classmates and being able to get together as a class. All classmates are not friends. That's life. The purpose of the reunion is to allow EVERYONE to have a chance to reconvene together and have a good time.

Another fact is that in comparision to other high school reunions, this reunion is economically reasonable in relation to inflation and personal economic woes. We understand that some will be able to attend and some will not. Some people can afford to attend and some cannot. That is also life.

From your post it seems to me that you have other issues that have nothing to do with the price of the reunion because you mentioned that you will get together with your "real friends". You took Itasha's post personal and it was not meant to be personal to you because this is a classwide message forum.

Also, Itasha has given her feedback about the reunion and has also provided suggestions. Thanks to her we have M Lounge and was able to get Dragonfly at a competitive price.

Its unfortunate that you and your "real friends" will not attend any of the events. You will be missed. If you have any suggestions or concerns about the reunion please email me at dpleas2@yahoo.com.

(TO THE CLASS) In the future, any postings offer criticism with no solution will be removed. Please leave your insecurities, gripes, negative comments, and high school attitudes at the door.

Hi everyone...as you all know I am starting my own party planning business. In a few weeks my work will be put to the test(my first party). This has been a long term goal of mines for years. Just based on my own fears( the economy alone) I kept putting it on the back burner. I really appreciate you guys for excepting my offer. On Sunday, keep in mind that this is basically one of my first completed projects(besides MY kids birthdays). I want feed back, good as well as bad. If you guy don't mine I will take pictures of my work and you may see them in a few weeks in my monthly newsletter. To criticize is one thing but to give your honest opinion I would greatly appreciate. But anyway, I kinda need a head count of how many kids will attend (I don't believe in kids being left out on prizes, etc.) Can you guys personally email me with the number of kids you will bring?? I think i can speak for everyone when i say Thanks to Danielle and Qiana (and anyone else who helped with suggestions) for taking time out of there busy schedules to put together something nice for all of us, friends or not. Its not easy to put something together for a group of people that u havent been in contact with for years and i must say its definetley not easy to front any money needed for down payments either. No one stepped up to the plate except for them and a few others and i feel as though any one who didnt step up shouldnt have nothing to say, but if your going or not. if you cant afford it thats fine but not anyones concern... come to what you can afford

If u cant afford this once in ten year event then maybe you should have planned something less classy with your real friends and kept your nasty comments to your self....

and i really believe i can speak for alot of people again by saying

NOBODY WILL MISS HEIDI GRAF HAHAHAHAHAHa LOL....
If she doesnt come then o-well..

P.S Flashback.. Remember when she got caught cheating and she was crying LOL
