Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences
Class Of 1998
Jessica Gulley

After graduation, I studied pre-med, bio-chemistry, history, political science and international relations at the University of Chicago. Received my B.A. in the latter two. Studied abroad in France and traveled Europe while I was there. Became a substitute teacher while taking masters classes in Poli. Sci. Hated it. I subbed at CHSAS most of the time. Mrs. Hamilton looked out for me :) Sold home and auto insurance with American Family. That got me through paralegal certification. Did that for 5 years. I came to a crossroads: go on to law school or go to teach. I chose teaching. And a crash course over a summer and I was thrown in. I'm also pursuing my Masters in Teaching. Its been fun and I look forward to next year!
I still wear my FFA jacket proudly!
