Yvonne Martin Oby

My life's journey has been a very interesting on and I'm yet "enjoying life". In 2006, I released my first book "The Articles from the Closet Chronicles" which captions various chapters of my life from early 1950's through 1991. I'm working on the follow-up book now and hope to release it before end of 2009.

I've served in the U.S. Army, worked at various corporate, governmental/civil, and legal positions.

My greatest experience in life was in Oct. 1985 when I became a "born-again" beliver and totally surrendered my life to God's will. I grew quickly in biblical studies and became an ordained Evangelist in 1990 and birthed out a church in 2001 which I was overseer of until 2004. Presently, I enjoy doing marketplace ministry and mentoring people one-on-one.

In January 2010 I released a work-out video.

Many people remember me because I was so talkative and friendly. After entering CVS in Sept. 1967, I quickly learned the names of people and befriended those who were seniors as well as those from my graduating class.

I was a stepper, great all around dancer, talker and even studied from time to time making it through high school above a C average (smile).

My close friends were Bam-Bam, Brenda Collins, Virginia Landrum, Betty Carr and Audrey Jackson among others.

My junion year, I made many transitions. The day I entered Mr. Six' typing class and at the end of 2 years, I graduated CVS typing over 55 wpm on a "manual" typewriter and landed my first job in Corporate America in 1971 and have not looked back since.

Thank God for "anointed" hands that yet assist me in earning me big bucks yearly.
