I know the obituary is hard to read, some of the highlights are: Michael Douglas Allen was born to the parents of S.L.(Sam) Allen and Barbara Jean Salone, his mom preceded him in death.  Mike was a fierce freedom fighter and football player both for CVS and at Valparaiso University.  Mike was a friend to his church, his clients, his coworkers to the students at Kwame Nkrumah Academy, to everyone.  Mike was the oldest grandchild and became a big brother to all his cousins.  Mike was gracious  in life and definitely in steppin on the dance floor with Gloria, his partner in life.  Raised in the church, he had many roles throughout his life within the church.

A devoted father to Mikie, Alleyah, Kayli and his grandson, Mikhiel.  He leaves to mourn his dad, Sam and sister Sandi, two uncles and two aunts and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
