After graduating Hubbard, I began working in healthcare. I obtained my associates degree in business administration with high honors at Northwestern College, and was initiated into the Alpha Beta Gamma International Business Honors Society. also graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelors degree in business administration with a concentration in health management at Robert Morris University of Illinois.
I met the love of my life and soul mate May 2006. We married September 2007. God has blessed me with 3 children!
I am now a homemaker, freelance artist, proud autism mom, and runner/autism advocate. When my youngest was diagnosed with autism early in 2018, I had to put my career and education on hold...indefinitely. I chose to dedicate my life to care for my son. At the same time I started running to help cope, destress, and raise autism awareness. Through my journey as an autism mom, I decided to also dedicate time creating art to sell so that I can participate in these running events. Some of the money I make from my paintings is donated to my favorite autism organizations. I am a self taught artist, and have always enjoyed creating art for many years. My calling is to advocate for awareness, inclusion, and acceptance until my son is able to do just that on his own. His diagnosis gave me the drive and motivation to become an artist, to become a runner/advocate but above all... a proud parent of a very special son that has my heart.
