I ran into Harry in 1977/1978 while assigned as an Operations NCO with the U.S. Army's Recruiting Command at Ft. Sheridan, IL. Harry was on active duty with the Illinois Army National Guard at Ft Sheridan is some type of liaison capacity but I don't remember exactly what. Shortly after that he got sick and passed away. His illness was a direct result of exposure to Agent Orange while in South Vietnam. Bill Kurtis who was a news anchor with channel 2 at the time did a special report concerning Agent Orange. Harry was featured in the report. Bill Kurtis called him a hero and that he was.
