Wearing black and white and playing cello in the semi-annual musical concerts. Or, eating Chicago Public School cookies.

Spending Sundays reading the newspaper.

Getting further education. Working almost 40 years as a teacher, largely in a middle school but also PreK through graduate school. Learning how to make spreadsheets.

I was fortunate to attend the best Chicago public high school at the time.. I met fabulous friends that I'm in contact with to this day. I love reading the Alumni Newsletter, of which I'm a life-long member. Also, my writing teacher at Lane (Ms. Coogan) taught me to NOT start every sentence with I, I, I.
