Today, I want to address something close to our hearts. WE MADE DONATING A CHALLENGE. Some of us registered for this momentous occasion without donating, and that's absolutely fine! Life takes us on unexpected journeys, and we understand that priorities differ for each and every one of us. However, I'd like to invite you to take a moment and consider something special.

Our Class of '73 has always been amazing, our reunions have been #lovefests and our donations to the Mather Alumni Scholarship Fund every five years make me proud of our tribe. It elevates our party to something even more.
When you sign up....This year, things are a little different. There are two separate fields for registration fee and donation. But they’re right there on the same page.

But here's the exciting part, the reason I combed my hair to make this video: One of our classmates established a matching fund to motivate everyone to donate. Your donation will be matched, doubling its impact!
Our donations to the Mather Alumni Scholarship Fund have made a significant difference. It's not just about the money; it's about the countless Mather students who pursued higher education with our support.
Your donations go towards scholarships for Mather seniors, helping them achieve their college or trade school dreams. They also provide grants to teachers for special educational experiences. Think field trips, materials for projects, and more.
Thanks to alumni donations, the fund awarded $223,500 in scholarships, empowering Mather graduates to become doctors, pharmacists, writers, and successful business professionals. I cannot think of anything that turns your charitable donation into something good, and tangible. We are contributing to the shape of the future!

Some background for you:
- In our 40th reunion, we raised and donated $3000 to the Scholarship Fund.
- And guess what? The 45th reunion also collected enough to donate $3000.
We not only have unforgettable nights together but also contribute to a greater cause.
As Mark Cohen said years ago, "In addition to having a wonderful time at the reunion, we gave back to our school and set an example."
Mather holds a special place in our hearts, and the memories still bring smiles to our faces.
