Barbara was in my kindergarten class. Somehow, that made me even sadder when I found out at the 30th reunion that she was gone. She came to one of my early birthday parties, and I specifically remember that she was the last kid to leave. This was fine with me, as we examined my new toys I'd gotten as presents that day, and had lots of laughs, throwing a ball around my basement. I wish we'd stayed in closer touch, over the years.
