50^TH YEAR REUNION

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 1, 2024

 

 Event Location:

Chevy Chase Country Club (CCCC)

1000 N. Milwaukee Ave, Wheeling

 

 Why a Sunday? The day after our reunion is Labor Day, and most importantly, a Sunday date allowed us to have a zero minimum financial requirement to meet. Additionally, this venue offers the following key elements to having successful reunion (meaning having the greatest classmate turnout):

Reasonable cost: Exact cost TBA, but, we will offer financial help, confidentially, to those who need assistance.

Great Location/Venue:  Not only does CCCC offer us the perfect date for financial discounts, it provides us a beautiful recently renovated venue (with a spacious ballroom & huge windows overlooking their golf course), AND, not knowing COVID, etc. concerns in 2024, they have outdoor patios for those who might be more comfortable eating outside.  Our date of 9/1/24 increases the chances of good weather.

Also, CCCC is right near Highway 294 (easy access to O’Hare), and many hotels of various price ranges (we’re looking for special discount), restaurants, shopping and more.

 

A formal Save-the-Date will be emailed out this summer, but in the meantime, we’d appreciate you spreading the word.

At the end of the day, it’s you all that will make our 50th memorable.  Please, save the date and join us in celebrating our shared history of growing up together.
