From the proceeds of the ticket sales plus individual gifts, we are able to make a class gift of $2100.  Of that, we're allocating $1600 to the Benedictines and $500 to the SASSY scholarship, organized by SSA alums to support the education of girls.  For each $50 ticket, alums can deduct $20 as a charitable donation (along with anything else they contributed individually).
