Cynthia was always fun to be around. She had a sweet sweet spirit, and hearing of her passing is a surprising and a sad loss. She will be missed at the reunion, and in years to come.

Cynthia, for a short time, was my brother Mike's wife - and a friend of mine too.  She brought the first grandchild into the Cowan family and we thought she hung the moon.  I lost track of Cynthia after she and Mike divorced, but when our family became reacquainted with Quent, her son and my nephew, years later, I had to marvel at the job she had done raising a wonderful boy.  She has three sons and they're all good boys.  Quent just turned 40 years old and he is an amazing husband and father of three.  Shortly after losing his Dad, he lost his Mother.  Yet he remains strong and has a positive outlook on life.   He is the best of both his parents.  I so wish she was here today to attend the reunion....I sometimes think "life interupted" when I think of Cynthia - but when I look at her three sons and grandchildren - and how they all remain strong and close after losing their mother so young - I realize her short life was a good life, a life well-lived.  And I've never met another person since with bigger brown eyes than this girl!  Rest in peace.

That was nice Kay.  I miss Cynthia a lot, although I didn't see her that often.  She was a pleasure to be around, so many old Rod Stewart songs remind me of her.   Once thing about Cynthia, she lived her life completely, she enjoyed it all.  Cynthia had a really good heart and meant well.

Her birthday is the day after mine, a few years ago she and Clayton came up and we all (and some other friends) went out for dinner (for our birthdays).  We had a very nice time.  I feel bad that her children have lost their mother, it's tough for young people not to have a mother.
