Where and/or How Did You and Your Spouse/Partner Meet?
There is a disagreement between the two of us on how we first met. I believe it was in her dorm room. Her roommate and I were taking a Calculus course my freshman year (August of 1989) and I went over to her room to study. In walked Mariam, coming back from Tennis practice, and the rest was history. Her account was in a freshman dorm room (down the hall from mine) where a bunch of freshman and upperclassmen and women were hanging out. I was the only American in the bunch, and, thus, the only one that was geographically challenged. We gave each other geography type questions, i.e, where is Dubai?, and when it was my turn they had to make it multiple choice. Evidently, Mariam found this to be cute.
