Larry Thomas "Tom" Neeley, 58, passed away Sept. 26, 2007, in Chico where he lived for the last 38 years. Tom was born in Portola on Dec. 6, 1948. He was preceded in death by his parents George Neeley, and Lois Thrailkill Landers. He is survived by his sister Diana Lynn Simpson, and his half sister Debra Wheat. He also had four nieces. Memorial services for Tom were held Oct. 13 at Portola Station Baptist Church at 2 p.m.

Memorial Services for Larry Neeley, 58, of Chico, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Bidwell Chapel. Larry passed away September 26, 2007 in Chico of heart failure.

He was born December 6, 1948 in Portola, CA. to George Albert Neeley and Lois Maxine Thrailkill Neeley. Larry was employed at the Chico Enterprise-Record doing newspaper delivery and janitorial. At one time, he was also a dishwasher. He loved traveling and collecting key chains from his travels. Listening and recording oldies, watching and recording old and sci-fi movies. Larry loved riding his bike and talking on his C.B. radio. He is survived by his sister Diana Simpson of Grass Valley, CA. and half sister Debra Wheat of Sacramento, CA. He will be laid to rest at Whispering Pines Cemetery in Portola, CA. Bidwell Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
