Laura J. Hirsch Vollmar

Went to University of Dayton and played volleyball and had a great time! Graduated in 1992 and started teaching at Unioto HS and coaching. Taught at Unioto H.S. for 15 years and now in my first year of teaching at Zane Trace H.S. Moved to be closer to home...we live just north of Kingston. A very good move, really enjoying teaching where I live... I know Kingston to Frenchtown is not a big commute but I like the 7 minute ride better:)
Coached volleyball and basketball until I had 2 little boys and I'd rather go home and play with them, so maybe later I'll get back into coaching.
Married for 14 years to Lew who graduated from ZT in 1985, works for Horizon Chillicothe Telephone Co (Business Systems).
I feel really fortunate to have a pretty darn good life, very blessed!

I can't imagine how this would be enough space for 4 years worth...I was only there for 2 and I don't know what to write. I'll think about what's appropriate and come back to this later???

I can now say I have been to Rooney's and Yingling's 'gathering places' in the daylight now.
