To: All 1985 Huntington High School Graduates, Friends and their Guests:
Can you believe it’s now been 25 years since we have been out of school? Sadly but for some of us it’s been 25 years since we’ve seen each other. For that reason, please join your friends and the Class Reunion Committee for this silver anniversary being held on Saturday, June 19th, 2010.
This year’s celebration will be held at the Eagles in Waverly which is located at 243 W. North St in Waverly, Ohio 45690. Directions to this very nice facility hall are defined on the return coupon attached. Parking is plentiful; we have our own entrance, exit, restrooms, reunion area, dance floor, cash bar and waitress.
Friends and their adult guests’ are asked to arrive for the social gathering at 5:30 PM. You will be asked to register once you arrive and there will be a photographer on site in case you and your guests choose to have any photo’s taken. Dinner will consist of an Italian style buffet which is set to begin at 6:30 PM. We will have bottled water and soda to go along with our dinner.
Just like in the past, there is no dress code associated with this event so please dress however you are the most comfortable. Beginning at 8:00 PM, our DJ will be helping us remember the 80’s by playing for us music from our high school years until 12:00 AM.
As it was mentioned, we will have a cash bar available to us during this time with last call at 12:00 AM. We will have ½ hour to clean up and vacate the facility by 1:00 AM. We welcome those of you who would be willing to stay and help us tidy up. So that you are prepared, the different variation of beverages and their associated costs will consist of:
Soda (Coke or Pepsi) $0.75
Beer $1.50
Mixed drinks ( ex: jack & coke) $2.00
Turkey, Crown Royal, etc.. $2.00
Long Island Iced Tea $5.00
The cost to attend the reunion will be $20.00 per person. Please fill out, cut and return the coupon included in with this invitation along with a check or money order by May 1st, 2010.
In closing, there are a few things that we would like to mention. There is a class reunion being held for all Huntington High School Alumni on Saturday, May 8th, 2010. The committee from the all class reunion has asked many times for all of your contact information so that they may invite you to this reunion personally, but we would rather you be in charge of passing your information on to the correct body. We would like to thank you all for the wonderful memories that you have left with us throughout the years. We are proud to be a part of the 1985 graduating class. We also appreciate being part of the history of Huntington High School. For these reasons, we would like to give back to our community and the township in which we all grew up in. If you would like to bring a canned food donation with you to the reunion, we will donate all of these items on behalf of our class to the non?profit organization that gives only to Huntington Township. This is not mandatory by no means just a thought of how we could possibly make a difference and help people out.
We hope that you truly consider attending this social event. It has been stated that the last reunion held in 2005 was the best one yet. We can’t make this one as successful without your attendance and we will certainly miss each person that is not in company with us that evening.
