Well, I went to Ohio Northern University and graduated with a bachelor's in biology in 1998. Then I lived in Dayton for a while, working at an animal hospital. Then I attended our 5 year reunion and met up with Tyson and the rest is history. We have been together ever since, living here in Chilli with our 2 girls and our dog.

In the fall of 2012, I went back to school to become a middle school teacher. I will be doing my internship this fall (2014) and hope to be teaching science or language arts sometime after that! Kaitlyn is now in seventh grade and is a very dedicated distance runner (9th place in SVC Junior High). Lauryn is in sixth grade and is really enjoying her advanced math class--she is also thinking about running next year. We also adopted another dog last year :)
