Dee Williams Carriker-Cox

I went back to school and got my GED and went on to get my ADN. Love life and kids to the point that I take in kids off the street and from bad household to keep them from getting beat or turning to drugs or other means of ways to deal with the turmoil of life. I no longer work for the prison and went to work caring for pediatrics in home health. I finished my master's degree in nursing. I have work in home health since Jan. 2012, until I fell at work twisting my ankle and foot injuring the nerves causing Complex Regional Pain Syndrome in April 2014. I am dealing with workman's Comp and waiting for an answer back after filing for disability because the CRPS has create several other problems that I have to get worse, and my medical doctor told me to file for disability. I did get disability in 2018, then in 2020 I became a Nana which was the best thing I could have dreamed for. I started watching her for her mother, which was a great deal of enjoyment. She's 4 now and in PreK, being Ms. Independent.

After resigning from the prison, I decided to go back to school to further my education. I have been going to school online at University of Phoenix and receive my Bachelor of Science in Nursing September 9, 2013, and continue on to complete my Master of Science in Nursing Education until I had to change it in May to strictly just a Master of Science in Nursing. I finished my MSN in October of 2015.

As far as South Rowan I remember sitting during lunch with Kelly Miller, Tracy Shook, Kelly Blount, and many other calling out cadences and just goofing off.
