Deedra Gordon

I have been divorced for 3 years now. Doing great...Things happen for a reason...We don't always understand why at the time but they do. My motto since then is: "Forgiving isnt forgetting, it's letting go of the hurt." I enjoy volunteering and raising money for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life event. This will be the 6th yr I have done Relay. Cancer has touched my life in a lot of ways...from friends, to family members..some are now cancer free and some I do Relay for in Memory of. maybe one day no one will die from this terrible disease.

I can remember hanging out with Donna Durham and Cheryl Carey ALL THE TIME....ususally where one was so was the other. I can remember being in Ms. Beller's class and loving it and her..she was great...Hard to believe it has been almost 25 years since then...where has the time gone....
