I graduated from Radford University in 1993, and was hired by the Commonwealth of Virginia, as a Pre-Sentence Investigator in Urbanna, Virginia. I moved to Roanoke in 1995, after being tranferred from the Urbanna Probation and Parole Office to the Ronaoke Probation and Parole Office, where I met my husband who was employed by the Roanoke City Commonwealth Attorneys Office at that time. I was married in 1997, in Paris, France, to Dennis Nagel. I retired from the Probation and Parole Office in 2006, and became a stay at home mother. I had a pancreas transplant on December 12, 2007, and am no longer a diabetic.
My family enjoys traveling and spending time together My daughters both are active in the Christiansburg Soccer Club.
