School Story:
High school... Thinking back, I wonder where the time went... Seems like much of it is a blurrrr... Throughout those 4 years, I've definitely got a few wish-I-would-haves... I took a lot for granted back then, I dont have many of those typical high school memories... Like Friday night football games and after-parties... I haaated my senior pictures... Cant remember the names of the teachers I had, or where my locker was...
I'd say I lived more of a "High School Musical" life!! ...Main Attraction - Go Aldos!!! ... Singing and dancing really was a great experience - the movie has nuthin on us!! Competing all over California was tons of fun!! Traveling to Hawaii, New York and Canada - great times!! ... Going to class with pink rollers in my hair the day of a show, in those aweful "Wheres Waldo" shirts, now that was embarrassing!!! ... But all in all - sooo worth it!
Lasting friendships really are priceless!! ... And my best friends Maggie Hildebrand and Cheryl Gordon - are still my girlz to this day!!
Hmmm ... A funny memory? ...
Cheryl n her lil red truck (we went everrrrywhere in that thing!)... Walking out to the parking lot after school/practice, to find the truck was NOT where we left it!! Sooomehow the guys and their muscles picked it up n moved it... Sometimes leaving it parked sideways - or across the parking lot!! - Lil pranksters!!... I guess these are the same guys that in elementary school would pull your pigtails to show they liked ya!! -CLASSIC!-
The 10year reunion is coming up... and honestly, I dont know how many people I'll recognize - or if we'd have many stories to share... But I'm definitely looking forward to going, catchin' up and if nothing else - make some new friends!! :o)
