Was a medic in the Air Force from 1967 to 1969. Bachelor's in Education from North Texas State University. Taught 2 years in Freeport, TX. Taught eight years (grades 5 to 8) in Kansas. Masters in School Counseling from Emporia State University. Elementary school counselor and college advisor, instructor, counselor for ten years. Attained PhD from Kansas State University and helped initiate the Kansas State University Honor and Integrity System. Recently moved back to Topeka, Kansas. I am now teaching for Washburn University (Education Dept) as an adjunct. Teaching Diversity and Classroom Management and supervising practicum teachers in the field.

I remember my Latin teacher making us stand to be dismissed and clicking our heels like he used to do in his military days!
I remember Mr. Stone "allowing" me to argue with him. He is the one who taught me to debate and use facts along with my opinions.
