I am so shocked and saddened  to hear the news that Marlene is gone. Although we were never good friends, she was always so kind and friendly to me. I will always remember her dazzling smile and amazing dance talent. She was the life of the party at the 40th reunion and it's sad to know that she will never make it to our 50th (whenever that will be)

Loved your smile, loved the way you loved life and remember our times together with fond memories. Rest In Peace ; you were one of my gems of high school memories

So very, very sad to hear this news about Marlene.  Can't seem to find the right words to express the sadness I feel when I learn of one of our classmates/teachers' deaths.  Life has taken us all on varied paths, and to varied locations, yet as we shared those years at HHS (and probably Hilltop Jr.), we are all connected regardless.  RIP, Marlene.  You are rememered with a smile.
