Bridget Harrison Yeung

In 1976 I graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Education. In 1977 I married John Yeung, after he graduated (with a degree in Architecture) we moved to Sugar Land, TX where he got a job.
In 1986 we had our only child, Kristin. After her birth I switched careers and went into the financial industry. In 2011 I was elected to city council here in Sugar Land. In 2014 our daughter married and graduated from medical school. Tragically, in 2015 my husband died of cancer.

I continue to work as a financial advisor. My daughter and two granddaughters live in Austin so I visit there often.

My favorite memory is skipping morning classes to go eat breakfast with my friends!!

Many, I love to travel. This year will travel to Dubai/Abu Dhabi, France,Bruges, Amsterdam, Istanbul, Greece, and Alaska to see the northern lights (all assuming no more variants!)

Traveling around the worlds has always been a dream of mine

Because I served on our city council and I am very involved with the Arts, I have met a lot of interesting people…it doesn’t mean I’ve always enjoyed them.

Visit the pyramids in Cairo and Luxor, hiked Machu Picchu, visited the Galapagos and walked the Great Wall in China and watched the running of the bulls in Pamplona. But very special to me is the mission work I have done in Guatemala..We are hoping we can start again once the virus passes.
