Dave Stultz was the most honorable and pure hearted person-- a true example for his children and grandchildren to follow. May the Lord grant his family and friends the grace to look beyond his loss and to their reunion in Heaven. Gone too soon.

Wow. So saddened to hear about my old friend Dave Stultz. My prayers go out to his family.

Hi Ron,

Don't about Mickey's Facebook status. Hae you trid a search. Mick Nugent.

As far as a 45th....We sent out a survey earlier this year and only got 13 responses interested in something small as a get together. I thought it would be fun to get a group together for the Amelia Vs. GE football game.

Getting together for the football game would be good as it will be the next to last one between GE and Amelia.  the few who did respond to the survey could meet for an early dinner then go to the game.  I was not aware just 13 classmates responded.

Bruce, you're very welcome-glad to help. Not facebook page, avoided it during my days at Morgan Stanley-created a lot of regulatory challenges. Would possibly be up for dinner before game. Do you know what the date is?

Hi all -- dinner and the football game sound great on August 28 -- maybe we can take a nostalgic tour of the "old school".  I understand with the advent of a new West Clermont combined high school that our old "home" will be torn down.  Does anyone know who to contact at the school that might be able to let us do that as a group?

Well, I might be able to arrange a group room at Rincon Mexicano near Jungle Jim's.  Probably sits about 30 people maybe a few more.  If everyone likes Mexican food.  I think the class of 1965 is also planning on attending the game as part of their 50th.

Okay, let's get a good head count then of who might be interested in going and perhaps we can get the game tickets purchased in advance and maybe even see if they can reserve some seats for our group.

Me too.  Two tickets for me so my husband can be there too. So much more fun than his BORING 50th. Their dinner dance was interesting. Everyone came for the dance but when the band started to warm up, everyone started to leave. By 10PM, there was barely a handful left...everyone had to get home. It was getting late and they didn't want to miss the 10PM news...hilarious!!!!!

People have been asking of there's going to be some kind of "goodbye to glen este" before the wrecking ball hits. Any info or who should be called??

Nancy Allen (Wyatt)

Should I send a message out to the whole class or just let it go through this forum?

Hi everyone.  Nancy sent out a blast message about dinner and the last HOME game between GE and Ameila on 8/28.  My email was included.  I know some have responded to this forum but, please also send me an email if you are planning on attending.  It will be easier to keep track that way.

Thanks

Thanks to Monty and Nancy for organizing this Class of '70 get together. Count me in. I think some of you knew my husband passed away a few years ago so it will just be me. Monty I looked back through the messages and couldn't find your email address.

I still can't believe they're tearing the school down. Just breaks my heart....I always felt so proud to have such a beautiful school campus.

My allegiance was always torn during the Glen Este - Amelia games. I attended Amelia Elementary for six years and when they built the new Glen Este Junior/Senior High I was redistricted to Glen Este Junior High. I think the first few years I didn't sit in the bleachers on either side.... I just walked around the whole time! LOL Does anyone know if they still play for 'The Bell'?

Looking forward to seeing those who can make it.

Bev Wright Smith
