Great to see my fellow Trojans again! I just don't know why I look so old and everyone else still looks so young!! Glad everyone is healthy and looking forward to see Kyle dance! LOL

It was good seeing everyone again even a couple who have missed past get togethers.  I too want to see Kyle dance Bruce but, if a pole of any kind is involved I am running as fast as I can.  Like Kyle said, re-hashing some of teh stories sure did bring back some good and funny memories.  I don't think the stories were embellished any either but, who amongst us would remember if they were.  See everyone and hopefully more next time.

We did have a nice gathering! Now everyone will be wondering about the reference to wanting to see Kyle (and Nadine) dance! So you'll have to come to the next gathering to find out! Makes it sound like we were a real 'wild and crazy' bunch! LOL Hope to see everyone and even more this summer.

Thanks Bev for getting this together. I really enjoyed catching up with eveyone, especially Martha.  The things you find out about some people after 40+ years. I know Martha isn't on here so we can talk about her.

Kyle I didn't know you pole danced, just  kidding.  Kyle really is a great dancer. You guys will have to come to Moonlight on a Friday night this summer.  Bev, maybe we could do a class outing there,

Hi everyone! Just wanted to pass on that Martha Wilkins is home with a bad knee injury. I'm sure she'd love to hear from you!

Martha!  What did you do now.  I told you at dinner at Rincon Mexicano to stop chasing the guys around!  Seriously, I hope you get better soon.  Take care of yourself.

I'm certain you knew that getting ready to climb Mt. Everest was going to be strenuous. Take care of yourself so the knee heals quickly and you can get back to your training program!! Seriously, don't push it too hard too quickly. We'll be thinking of you.

Hey Martha, get plenty of rest, and take care of your knees. Hope you can find a good book, or learn to knit a sweater, while you are chairbound.

Summer will be here before you know it classmates! I am hoping someone can take the reins and plan a summer get together for us (my summer plans are static and I can't commit to planning or attending anything just yet). A picnic might be nice (Richard your place looks awesome . . .hint, hint) or Kyle and Nadine mentioned one of the dances at Moonlight Gardens (they ARE FUN). So hopefully someone gets the ball rolling and we'll have a great turnout for something awesome!

I will post this on the GE Class of '70 Facebook group as well.

Martha, I hope you are doing better. I don't think I want to know how you injured your knees. Seriously, I hope you are healing quickly. I had so much fun with you at the dinner.

I am so sorry Jane. It is hard to know what to say, saying I will pray for you sometimes seems little enough but rest assured I and all of us who say we will pray for you and your family will pray and if there is anything else we can do just let us know. Love You,

Jim and Zoila

Hi Jane -- I was very sorry to hear about your husband.  There was an old song -- can't remember the title, but I think it was "Charades" -- "We tried to talk it over, but the words got in the way".  At times like these, words do truly get in the way.  We all love you very much and hurt with you and for you -- just don't forget to take care of YOU during these hard times....prayers for you and your family.

Pam

I want to share that my son, Jim, was hospitalized for a month.  He had a brain aneurysm that burst causing a major stroke.  This happened mid-September.  My husband and I flew out right away.   They did not know if he would survive but he did.  He spent time in ICU at Good Sam and was then transferred to Jewish for intensive therapy.  He is paralyzed on his left side.  He has made real progresss....he can walk short distances wearing a custom leg brace and a cane.  No use of his left arm so far.

Jim lives in the Eastgate area and I was there for a month.  He is finally at home and I am back in California. If you believe in the power of prayer as I do, please include him in yours.  He does not like personal information put on FB which is why I am sharing this here.
